The journey to Lovund
The island of Lovund is located at the very edge of the Helgeland caost, reight bellow the arctic circle, and the journey here can seem challenging. Presented bellow are some simple tips and advice for you who are planning on making the trip by means of public transportation. The tips are based on the assumption that you are travleing trough regional hubs, and you will have to find the most suitable option for your traval route. And do remember; things take time, and certain transportation alternatives only have 1 or 2 daily departures.
If you travel by car and want to bring it over to Lovund there is only one mainland departure location for car ferries: Stokkvågen
If you are traveling by RV/caravan there are spaces for that near the guest harbour and football field on lovund
If you are traveling by private boat there are two guest harbours on Lovund
